The Way to Heaven.
Heaven is real and Hell is real. When someone dies, their spirit and soul (the real person) leaves their body and either ascends into Heaven or descends into Hell. Their destination depends on their relationship with God or lack of it. Those who reject God reject Life (Eternal Life with God), and on Judgement Day will be cast into the Lake of Fire forever. Those who seek God, repent of their sin and walk in obedience to God, will Live in the Presence of Almighty God forever.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 6 v 44:
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 15 v 16:
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Repentance:
Romans 3 v 23:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God
Romans 3 v 10-12:
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
There is none that understandeth,
there is none that seeketh after God.
They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Jeremiah 17 v 9-10:
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Matthew 4 v 17:
Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
What does God mean by Repent?
1). Turn for all wrong doing (sin) in your life and start living as God wants you to.
Romans 6 v 23:
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 14 v 15:
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John 14 v 21:
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
To understand how God wants us to live, we need to read and study God's Word, The Bible. Pray and ask God to give you understanding, by His Holy Spirit, as you read.
The book 'To The Glory of God' is written for this very purpose, see section 'Left Behind, The Reason Why And The Need For True Repentance'.
Remember at all times, that you cannot earn your salvation,
but rather this is the free Gift of God to all who truly believe.
Ephesians 2 v 8-9:
For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
It is because of the Love of God now in our hearts, that we want to please God and walk in His Truth.
Ephesians 5 v 8-11:
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Ephesians 2 v 10:
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
2) If there is anything we are able put right (make amends for), for the wrong we have done in the past, we should by God's Grace and help, do so. God is not calling us to do the impossible, but what we are able to do, by His Grace.
Believe:
Acts 16 v 31:
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved
Mark 16 v 16:
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Romans 10 v 9-10:
If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
John 1 v 12:
As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
To believe on The Lord Jesus Christ means to walk in obedience to Him.
Motto: If God has said it, I believe it, that settles it.
Be Baptized:
There is one Baptism that is absolutely essential to be saved, 'born again' and ready for heaven: the Baptism of The Holy Ghost. The thief on the cross, by Jesus, who repented, was not baptised in water; but he was baptised in The Holy Spirit of God. We know this clearly from his initial blasphemy against God (Matthew 27 v 44) to his complete change of heart and repentance toward God (Luke 23 v 39-43). Only God can do this wonderful work in the heart, by His Spirit.
Who is the Real Baptizer? Jesus is:
Luke 3 v 16-17:
John answered, saying unto them all,
I indeed baptize you with water;
but one mightier than I cometh,
the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose:
he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor,
and will gather the wheat into his garner;
but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.
Romans 8 v 9:
Ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ,
he is none of his.
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin;
but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh,
to live after the flesh.
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:
but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Galatians 5 v 22-25:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Ephesians 4 v 30-32:
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Water Baptism:
Water baptism is symbolic of the work God does in the life of a person, by His Holy Spirit, that they might be 'born again' (John chapter 3) . The Christian is called by God to be baptized in water, as an outward confession to the world that he or she is now God's.
Going under the water speaks of being buried with Christ in His death (leaving your old life behind because Jesus died for your sins). Coming back out of the water, speaks of Christ's Resurrection and the New and Everlasting Life He gives to those who believe
Matthew 28 v 18-20:
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Act 2 v 38:
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
The Cost:
To follow The Lord Jesus Christ, there is a cost. The cost is everything. As Jesus gave everything for you and me in dying on the cross for our sins, so He calls everyone who will follow Him, to give all to Him. The truth is, we are only giving Him the rubbish of our sinful lives, that He may change us and give us His Righteousness and the Blessing of Everlasting Life with Him.
Mark 8 v 34: Jesus said:
Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Blessed are they that do his commandments,
that they may have right to the tree of life,
and may enter in through the gates into the city.
